CBT Sisterhood

L'Shana Tovah

As your new Sisterhood President, I am  looking forward to a successful year filled with many events, fund raisers & involvement of every Sisterhood member.

I am excited to have wonderful women chairing & co-chairing the various Sisterhood positions as Vice Presidents. I will be looking to them for guidance as I jump into this venture.

Sisterhood has been an important arm of Congregation B'Nai Torah and always will be! There are many facets that YOU can be involved in! If you have not been active please reach out to me or anyone on the board.  Help is always NEEDED & APPRECIATED!

Your ideas and suggestions are welcome!

The tradition of catering various temple events continued.  We are so fortunate to have our wonderful “Kitchen Angels” under the very capable leadership of Lea Moskowitz and her “crew”.  These ladies are the backbone of our Catering Committee, and rise to each occasion with professionalism, beautiful food presentations, and delicious receptions and meals. They will be very busy preparing and serving once again this coming year, as we look forward to Oneg Shabbats, Kiddush luncheons, congregational meals, and other special celebrations. When you choose to have the “kitchen Angels” cater your event you won’t be disappointed with the food for your occasion.

Our Yearbook is the largest fundraising event undertaken each year, and the proceeds from this project help us to meet our financial obligation to the congregation.  We have a lovely Judaica gift shop that is well stocked with new trendy items as well as old favorites.  Please stop in and browse – we are certain you will find just what you may be looking for – and if we don’t have an item it can usually be ordered for you.

Our Officers, Members and Trustees all work diligently and do a great job with each undertaking. We always enthusiastically welcome newcomers to our synagogue and to our Sisterhood.  Won’t you consider joining us and sharing in the satisfaction we derive from working together to further the goals of Congregation B’nai Torah.
